Pastor’s Pen – December 5, 2010

On Sunday morning, December 5th, our annual Christmas Cantata was held and it was a God-honouring event with over 40 participants in the choir and play.  With light snow falling and with 242 in attendance, it was a wonderful setting in which to worship the Lord.  The Cantata was entitled “Christmas In Your Heart.”

Our Wednesday evening Bible studies continue each week as I have just started an expository teaching study from 1 Kings.  The study is followed by our prayer groups.

There are regular services on Sundays, December 12th and 19th.

On Friday evening, December 24th, our annual Christmas Eve service will be held at 6pm.  There will be no Wednesday service this week.

On Sunday, December 26th, regular services for Sunday school (10am) and the morning service (11am) will be held but there will be no evening service.

On Friday evening, December 31st, we will have a New Year’s eve service at 7pm.  There will be no Wednesday service this week.

Starting January 2, 2011, we are back to regular services.

On Saturday, January 15th, we are holding our annual church workers banquet at a local restaurant.

May each of us faithfully speak of the unspeakable Gift!
