Pastor’s Pen – July 19, 2015

Today, we held our second Friend Day and BBQ of the summer.  Between these two special days this summer, we have been blessed with 17 visitors out to the services.

Enrollment season continues for the Vaughan Baptist Christian Academy.  With seven new students officially enrolled and our six returning students, we now have a student body of thirteen with several more prospects still outstanding.   In just two weeks, we transition the VBCA to the Education Building adjacent to our church property.  Many work days are planned as we begin renovations.  We are grateful and humbled by the Lord’s blessings upon the school.

Our 24th Anniversary service will be held on Sunday, September 20th.   At this time, we will also have a dedication service for the Education Building.
To God be the glory!

In light of current events and trends in the world and in the church, the Apostle Peter’s exhortation seems timely: “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.” (1 Peter 4:7)
